The British-Israel Chamber of Commerce exists to encourage bilateral trade between Britain and Israel. This is achieved through a series of informative business networking events, the co-ordination of inbound and outbound trade missions and the making of introductions. We offer our members trade support services including seminars, introductions to Israeli and British companies and experts as well as customised business programmes in Israel.

Established shortly after the State of Israel itself, the British-Israel Chamber of Commerce is a national organisation with offices in London, Leeds and Manchester and we encourage you to utilise their facilities for your UK-wide business needs, networking and client entertainment.

The Chamber hosts a number of functions during the year. Our major business events attract hundreds of corporate business leaders. In addition we arrange CEO briefings, members' only receptions and a series of breakfast seminars and boardroom lunches that provide quality business networking opportunities for members.

The B-ICC is a non-governmental trade promotion organisation dedicated to creating business development opportunities, not a charity.

The B-ICC is essentially a networking organisation, dedicated to bringing people together for mutual benefit. By becoming a member of the Chamber, you get access to business and legal expertise from both countries and the opportunity to be put in touch with similar business enterprises with a wealth of shared experiences, advice and guidance on how to best trade with or invest in Israeli commerce.

In performing this objective, the Chamber invites its members to take part in the following activities:

Trade Missions

The British-Israel Chamber of Commerce facilitates a number of trade delegations to Israel, each year, to help encourage trade and foster closer business relationships between Britain and Israel.

Commercial outcomes which derive from these missions extend beyond the bilateral trade statistics, as they include joint ventures, technology transfer agreements, academic exchanges, partnership arrangements in third markets, cooperation agreements between British and Israeli business associations, and an increase in trade industrial products.

Each of these missions is themed around relevant British industry policy, and the objective is to deliver not only commercial benefits to the companies, but also make a contribution to the UK and Israeli economies. These are usually timed with key economic and business conferences taking place in Israel. Encouraging diverse representation from political leaders, public sector decision makers, Academia, and broad private sector interests assists such outcomes.

B-ICC Missions play an important role in raising the awareness of the opportunities that exist between the two countries.

Investment Opportunities

On a purely informational basis, the B-ICC brings you details relating to the rise and fall of Israeli businesses, giving you access to the most up to date information in your sector and beyond. Our network of representatives from Israeli companies extends across 80 high performance public listings and more than 1200 leading businesses, accounting and legal firms as well as over 180 Israeli companies already operating from a UK base. We also can provide you with a membership directory of companies and individuals in the UK who have experience of investing in and trading with Israel and can help guide you through the process.

Networking

There is no better way to make a connection than to make it face to face. The B-ICC offers you a number of events throughout the year that will give you opportunity to make a personal connection with UK and Israeli businesspeople operating in Britain. Through our Breakfasts Briefings, Informal Receptions, Business Lunches and other events you will meet hundreds of individuals who have experience of working with Israeli companies or within the Israeli market. One-to-One and follow-up meetings can be arranged through the Chamber for your own business benefit.

Membership application

All B-ICC Events will be advertised online in the members-only section. As the guest lists for each event grows, the companies represented will be displayed, so that other members can see who is coming to network with.

Young B-ICC

The B-ICC will reach out to young business people and entrepreneurs to bring them together to engender an affinity to Israel in the younger generation. By bringing together young people who are starting their business or legal careers and giving them an understanding of Israeli business, we ensure that following generations will build a pro-active community of business professionals with an interest in bi-lateral trade.
